A gorgeous hand-block printed cotton bedspread in red, cornflower blue and camel. The image shows the block print pattern along the sheet and the edge design. Each quilted bedspread comprises of two thick cotton sheets quilted together. The top sheet is handblock printed while the bottom is a matching plain in cotton. The craftswoman first makes tiny cross stiches all along the edges of the bedspread to ensure that the sheets are quilted well. Once this is done, she embroiders along the block printed pattern to further enhance the print. Our cotton bedspreads are ideal for use as a bedspread, top sheet, summer quilt. All our bedspreads are made wih vegetable dyes and are 100% cotton. Machine wash separately in cold water. Wash on gentle cycle. Do not soak. It is recommended that prior to first use, the bedspreads be dipped in salted water for 15 min. to remove extra color. Dry in shade or at low temperature in the dryer.
